"India, Pak make cautious start"

"The foreign secretaries of India and Pakistan met [in Thimphu] on Sunday night in a bid to resume the dialogue process and to try bridging the trust deficit that hit the relationship."

Here, I found an article on the Hindustan Times that describes a new upswing in diplomatic activity between Pakistan and India. What I thought interesting was, despite both parties' agreement in their commitment to strive for better connections between the two neighbors, the article points out:
"Though many of these topics constituted the composite dialogue, India doesn’t want the dialogue process to be called composite at the moment."
It's almost as if the current climate surrounding India-Pakistan relations is still too volatile in the aftermath of the Mumbai and Cricket attacks for India to publicly admit that they are willing to cooperate.
